The Alzheimer’s Association Memory Ball Dancing with the Stars is a signature fundraising event for the organization. This event features several prominent members of the Maryland community who are known for their leadership and commitment to the cause.
Maggie Covington Cornwell, Shelette Grant-Owens, Samer Najjar and Cynthia Volk were among this year’s Dancing with the Stars. They competed for the coveted Mirror Ball trophy by asking for “votes.” The Dancing Stars danced to dazzle and delight more than 700 guests in attendance, and the couple that received the most “votes” was awarded the Mirror Ball Trophy.
