Enjoy a fresh take on a Shakespeare play at “Everything That Never Happened” at the Baltimore Center Stage, 700 N. Calvert St.  Sarah Mantell’s revisionist tale, “The Merchant of Venice” is told from a Jewish perspective. Go to the book launch for Maggie Master’s “The Hopeling” at Bird in Hand Coffee & Books, 11 E. 33rd St.  In this young adult novel, an angel charged with diving human prayers seeks out a teenager who made a very unusual request.  There will be a reading, conversation, Q&A and book signing.
