Upcoming concerts around the Baltimore region feature Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and some old-school rock bands, according to several announcements over the past week.

Perry, a 13-time-Grammy-nominated singer, is back on the road in the U.S. for the first time in seven years. She will perform at Baltimore’s CFG Bank Arena on Aug. 15 for The Lifetime’s Tour, promoting her latest album, “143,” which made Billboard’s top-10 album sales chart last year. Perry is also expected to sing some of her other chart-topping hits.

Ticket presales started Tuesday at 10 a.m.

Country music star Luke Bryan will bring his “Country Song Came On Tour” to Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia on Aug. 7. Tickets for the five-time “Entertainer of The Year” go on sale Friday with prices ranging from $98 to $757.

The M3 Rock Festival is back at Merriweather on May 2 to 4. The festival will feature some of the 1980s’ most popular rock bands and singers, including David Lee Roth, Sebastian Bach, and Stephen Pearcy and Warren DeMartini.

Tickets are on sale Friday with cost ranging from $99 to $199. M3 Rock Festival tickets will not be available for purchase at the Merriweather box office until Monday.

Nine Inch Nails, the gritty 1990s American industrial rock band, is coming to the CFG Bank Arena on Aug. 26 as part of its “Peel It Back” tour in late August. The tour is the band’s first live appearance since 2022, entertainment company LiveNation announced on its website. Online ticket sales will begin at noon Wednesday.

One of the marquee events of the season will be a one-night-only performance by Billy Joel and Sting at Nationals Park in Washington on Sept. 5. The musicians will each perform their most beloved songs from throughout their illustrious careers. Public ticket sales begin Friday at 10 a.m.

Joel, who was the first artist to perform at Nationals Park in 2009, will be making his fourth appearance at the ballpark. Tickets go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m.

Joel also became Camden Yards’ first big concert act in 2019, but the ballpark said Tuesday it didn’t have an update on when it will release its next concert lineup.
