Women’s outfits get most of the attention at dressy events. But here, while there were plenty of gorgeous dresses and gowns, it was the men’s ensembles that took center stage. After all, what else would you expect at a fundraiser for a nonprofit called Sharp Dressed Man?
Snappy suits and jackets, ties, pocket squares – even the occasional waistcoat – were the norm for most of the male attendees at Sharp Dressed Man’s “Annual Winter Gala,” held this year at the Baltimore Streetcar Museum.

Some 75 folks enjoyed food, drinks and games at this year’s party, which had a casino theme of “Wheel of Fortune.”
In addition to the holidays, the organization also celebrated a milestone – having provided some 15,000 men in need with suits to help them feel more confident and help in their efforts to rejoin the workforce.
